Tulsa Expansion & New Location
Taylor opened its first satellite operation in Tulsa on North Lewis in 1988. For the past 10 years, TCR has served the Tulsa area from the Tulsa Port of Catoosa. In January of this year, TCR closed on an industrial tract of approximately 80 acres just Northeast of Pine and Garnett. This location puts us on our traffic lane, HW 169 and more central to our client base which will allow us to be more effective and efficient in the Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma market. |

So far we have been clearing the raw land of trees and preparing to operate from this new location, 11709 E. Tecumseh, starting the first week of June. Construction is to be completed by the end of this year. Plans include erection of a new 30,000 square ft. metal building with overhead craning capacity. The facility will house Taylor’s equipment and provide under roof warehousing for clients - open lots will present their clients outside storage as well. Rail road track borders the northern property line; Taylor is pursuing development of an on-site spur, which would open the company to receiving direct trans-loads from rail.

2007 Taylor took possession of a new 265 ton
capacity, Liebherr LTM 1220-5.2 all terrain
hydraulic crane.
This is the largest crane in TCR’s fleet.
265T Crane features:

• 141’ jib
• overall boom length = 338’
• 163,100 pounds of counter weights
• Hydro pneumatic suspension
• Highway permitable: 10’ width
• Highway legal weight
In the photo, the 265 Ton crane co-lifts and sets an oversize vessel, with 2 versa-lifts on the opposite end, onto an extended double drop trailer before it transported out of state. This lift took place in TCR’s main lot, May 2008. |
